As a former Honolulu Police Officer I have always wondered on our gun laws here in Hawaii. Why do only the "bad guys" have guns? We law abiding citizens have no way of protecting ourselves and others from these crazy criminals. I have a concealed carry permit good in many states that I travel to. It is so refreshing to carry on my last trip to Las Vegas and have people tell me, "I feel so much safer when someone like you has a permit to carry". No one blinks an eye to someone with a permit to carry a firearm. The last 8 yrs of travling to Las Vegas I watch the news in the morning and evening and have NEVER seen a purse snatching or armed car Jacking like I see here every week or more. There will never be enough Police Officers to protect everyone. When can Law Abiding Citizens here protect themselves, their family and anyone around them FROM GREAT BODILY HARM or DEATH?
What do you think about ILLEGAL ailens crossing our boarders and live off us taxpayers?  Each election, our politicians are sworn in and pledge to protects the laws and Constitution of the United States, when they VIOLATE it all the time with sancuary cities. What part of Illegal makes it legal? Every country has a RIGHT to protect their boarders, why can't we?

Hopefuly Drag Racing will resume on the outer islands and we can go back to the race track. A friend of mine used to race on Maui with his black Chevy Beretta, running Amsoil 10W30 Racing oil and did a best time of 7.46 seconds in the Qurter mile. In running the Amsoil he didn't change the engine oil till the last race of the year with all the internals looking like new after one year. That's something thats not seen with other oils.
